Easy A.D, Hip Hop pioneer and co-founding member of The Legendary Cold Crush
Brothers, introduces the visionary I Am Hip Hop Book Series. This is his promise to the
students, educators, and families: He will provide “the authentic history of the culture

incredible achievements of young trailblazers from yesterday. Beginning with the

books showcases iconic and unsung heroes from Hip Hop’s founding four elements,
and carries their legacy from the stage right into the classroom. The mission carried out
by Easy A.D. ensures the revolutionary culture produced by youth is transferred to the

Charles is proud to co-author this book series with hip-hop icon, Easy A.D. He is an
exceptional storyteller, and writer. He writes as a call for equality and as an instrument
for effecting change. His passion and expertise in multimedia are well combined with
those of Easy A.D. As one of the co-architects of this narrative, Charles will play an
important role in keeping this vibrant and authentic history of hip-hop’s early days alive
through the unique experience, and connection offered by Easy A.D. The series of
books, focusing on both well-known and less-known heroes of hip-hop, will bring this

Antony Riley (Sensrdsgn), known as one of the early hip-hop flyer designers, electrically
depicts this first book. Antony’s artwork is a capsule in time, taking the reader back into
the rich early history of hip-hop. Antony’s sketches will take the reader through the
important stages from a raw Bronx park jam through a legendary Harlem battle and the
historic Wild Style movie tour of Japan. These poignant sketches capture the essence
of young explorers creating an extraordinary culture out of nothing and are full of

substance and feeling for important ingredients within this worldwide movement. So
